Step sliders on a Gladiator take the first hit, and on aggressive trails the sides and undersides of the sliders take the next ones. A bent slider is a poor souvenir.

The Rock Slide Engineering skid plate set covers the side and bottom of the Gladiator step sliders with 3/16 in steel and a cutout for the step. The plates screw into the existing slider with the same brackets, so nothing gets drilled.

Fit the driver and passenger plates in about 30 minutes. The sliders are covered and the steps keep working.
