A Gladiator's rocker panels sit right where rocks and ledges meet the body on a tight trail. A scrape there goes through paint and into the sheet metal below the door frames, and fixing that is a body shop job.
The Rock Slide Engineering rocker guards are aluminum with a textured black powder coat, and they add side impact coverage over the rocker panel and below the door frames.
Drill the sheet metal, bolt the guards on with the included hardware and you are done in about an hour. The rockers and the lower doors are covered, so the next scrape lands on aluminum.
