Climbing out of a Gladiator after a day on the rocks means stepping over a low rail, and every ledge the sill meets is body panel you would rather keep straight. A wet boot on a narrow rail does not help either.
The RHX Series guards weld a 1 3/4in steel tube step to 2in x 3in steel mounting bars. The top plate carries dimple punches for traction, and each end cap is welded shut so debris, water and dirt stay out. Mounting goes beyond the body pinch seam, using the body bolts and the floor of the JT through existing holes.
Bolt the driver and passenger guards on, use the shims in the hardware pack to line them up under the body, and the tube takes the rocks in place of the rocker panel.
