A Gladiator is a long, heavy truck, and driving one fast down a washboard road puts a lot on the front shocks. The nose dives, the steering goes light and the stock dampers fade as the oil heats up.

The FOX Factory Race 3.0 Internal Bypass front shock has a 3.0 in aluminum body and 8.77 in of travel. Its bypass design lets fluid pass the piston through the first part of the stroke and forces it through near the ends, so the ride stays plush while harsh bottom-outs are caught. A finned remote reservoir with a recirculating bridge sheds heat, and tool-free DSC adjusters set high- and low-speed compression.

Bolt the pair on, mount the reservoirs, set the adjusters and go. The Gladiator stays controlled when the road breaks up.
