Factory tail lights sit proud of the body, where branches and rocks find them first. The Tail Gunner kit replaces them with housings that mount tight to the body and remove that protrusion. The aluminum housings are high UV-load black powder coated, and the Grote LEDs with integrated backup lights are SAE/DOT certified. Wiring is plug and play and the install is bolt-on, with no cutting or welding. Swap the lights, plug in, and the back of the rig stays tucked in on tight trails. Because the lights sit tight to the body, branches and rocks have less to catch on.

• The resistor gets hot. Do not bundle it with the rest of the wiring harness; keep it away from the other wiring, using high-heat double-sided tape, metal zip ties or other high-temperature fasteners.
