Each B8 5100 is tuned for its specific application, and this front shock is the one for the Jeep Cherokee XJ 1984-2001 & Grand Cherokee ZJ/WJ 1993-2004, sized for 4in of front lift. The monotube design is meant to keep damping consistent without fade.

Put the vehicle on stands, change the shock and test drive. The Cherokee XJ or Grand Cherokee rolls over broken pavement with less shake.
