Ford Ranger 2019-2023, ARB Recovery Point, Red Info & Specs
Recovering a Ranger from a rut is only as safe as the point you hook to. A generic tow hook can put side loads on the pin during an angled pull.
The ARB Recovery Point bolts to the chassis on either side of the Ranger and reuses the original tow hook fasteners. Its long slot takes a 9,500 lb bow shackle through it, with the 17,600 lb strap attached at the pin, so the load is spread evenly.
Fit it with the instructions supplied, rig the shackle and strap as shown, and you have a rated point ready for the next recovery.
