The 78.9in bed on an F-150 carries the long loads, and the long loads need weather protection. The Westin EXP Truck Cap With Sliding Front Glass covers that bed in matte black powder coated aluminum, with a sliding front window that gives pass-through access from the cab. Gullwing side doors lock with T-handles, the EPDM sponge double seal holds out dust and rain, and the roof rails carry accessories. Fit the cap, secure the hardware, and the bed is covered with no drilling.
