Years of miles wear out the factory struts on an F-150, and the truck starts to feel loose over rough ground. These Rough Country N3 loaded struts replace them at stock ride height with a pre-loaded coil, so the struts do not need to be disassembled. They are nitrogen charged, have a 1-3/8in bore and use velocity-sensitive valving with infinitely variable damping. Bolt the pair in over 1 to 2 hours. The damping is tuned for this application, and the chrome piston rod resists corrosion. The truck rides like new again, with the damping to back it up.
