Dust, silt and water crossings are part of the route for a Bronco on the trail, and the stock air inlet sits low where all of it is. Drawing air from there asks the engine to breathe whatever the trail throws up. This Borne Off-Road snorkel raises the inlet to roof height, where the air is cooler and cleaner. The UV-resistant cross-linked polyethylene tube mates to the airbox through an included adapter, and it works with the stock or Mishimoto intake. Cut the fender using the included guide, bolt on the steel brackets and fit the 6 inch inlet. The engine gets cleaner air wherever the trail goes.
