2015-23 Chevrolet Colorado Expedition Essentials Powered Accessory Dash Mount Info & Specs
The Expedition Essentials Powered Dash Mount adds much need storage for your electronics and provides a sleek and sturdy mounting system for your dash. This functional mount allows you to mount your cell phone, GPS, CB Radio, and tablet all in one easily accessible and secure place. Made from 5052 Aluminum for a lightweight but strong design and finished with a powder coated flat textured black.
It is important to note that during installation, drilling is required for proper installation. With maximum strength in mind, screws will need to be placed in the top dash cubby area as well as utilization of a center mount with the factory radio attachment points creates an extremely sturdy platform. Installation of this dash mount also requires minor trimming on the topmost edge of the replaceable plastic radio trim surround; the trimming is in two small sections that are unseen when the mount is installed and is required for the support bracket that ties into the factory radio mounting location. By doing so, this will increase the strength of the mount, but is also necessary for a successful installation. Basic wiring of the USB charger is all necessary. On average, installation may take 1.5-2 hours.
