On a 2016-2018 Silverado 1500 or 2019 LD, a grille guard that also holds a winch saves buying and fitting two separate parts. The Westin HDX Winch Mount Modular Grille Guard is a 3-piece steel guard with bolt-on headlight guards, a full punch plate grille and a MAX winch tray for winches up to 12,000 lbs. The tray brackets attach straight to the frame, and the tray is tested to a minimum 16,500 lbs straight line pull. Trim the air dam or valance, bolt it on and run the winch.
