It's constructed with a core of solid zinc and has a shackle plated with zinc-nickel; the cylinder is automotive grade and has a 6-plate tumbler to prevent anyone from picking or bumping it. Moisture and dirt are kept out with its stainless-steel shutter and the weather-resistant jacket. This lock is manufactured in the USA and has the top corrosion-resistance rating given in the ASTMA. It comes with a lifetime warranty.
