Pentastar Cartridge to Spin-On Oil filter adapter fits 2014+ 3.6-liter Pentastar engines. Cartridge Filters have no anti-drainback valve. This product provides faster oil pressure at startup by keeping the upper oil system flooded. The adapter contains full flow check valve and unique threaded locking mechanism. Utilizes Schrader valve for oil evacuation when removing spin-on filter. Made and patented in USA.
Application Note: Minor modifications may be needed on some vehicles to attain proper clearance for installation and servicing.
DOES NOT WORK WITH E-TORQUE EQUIPPED 3.6L MODELS
The system requires a spin on oil filter such as the MAHLE OC1047

"I figure this is about a 96% solution. I found if my jeep sits for a couple weeks the oil still drains down out of it. And there's the clatter of the valves when the vehicle starts. If the Jeep has sat for a couple of weeks. I will hold down the Excelerator, which cuts off the ignition, spin the engine for a few seconds. Turn the ignition back off, let go the Excelerator and then start the vehicle with no issues. This is a very slick product well designed. And easy to install."
