APEX Designs Rapid Inflation Valve (RIV), Standard Length, Set of 4

Airing down for rocks or sand is the easy part. Airing four tires back up with a slow, hot compressor is where the afternoon goes. This set of four APEX Rapid Inflation Valves gives each dual valve-stem wheel a fast fill path, with little to no pressure drop across the Schrader valve, so the compressor does less work and runs cooler. Install one per wheel, connect your air line, and add a regulator if you want auto shut-off. Air-up becomes a short stop.

• Sub 10 second air-up on 37 to 39 in tires with a large shop compressor at 120 PSI and 10 CFM (use high flow fittings and inflators)
• Little to no pressure drop across the Schrader valve, which lowers compressor work, heat and duty cycle
• Onboard air fill lines can be smaller; 0.188 in ID is the smallest that should be used
• Auto shut-off with an air regulator set to the desired pressure, at 10 to 20 percent longer fill time
• Standard length suits most wheels

• Wheels with deep valve stem recesses, such as some beadlock wheels, need the XL length.
• Without the auto shut-off, a gauge on the opposite valve can monitor inflation pressure.
