Firepits

Portable fire pits for camp. The ARB Portable Camp Fire Pit and Grill is a five-piece steel pit that slots together without tools, holds wood or coals on a base plate and carries a cooking grill on top; it packs into a canvas bag. The TemboTusk Fire Pit is a stainless steel flat-pack pit for propane only, with a 20,000 BTU burner, hose and regulator.

A propane pit avoids hauling firewood and leaves no ash, and propane is sometimes allowed when wood fires are not; check local fire restrictions before every trip. Related: stoves and ovens, camping gear and fire extinguishers.
