The Bulldog Winch Synthetic Rope specifically for 12,000lb-12,500lb winches differ from wire ropes as they’re light weight and have the ability to float in water. If you ever find yourself in a muddy situation or in any small body of water, you will never lose your rope in the water. Synthetic ropes are much stronger than steel ropes, they are easy to handle and you don’t have to worry about causing harm to your hands from sharp strands that may occur on wire rope. Synthetic ropes are also much safer during any recovery situation as they do not store kinetic energy, therefore if they were to break while in use the synthetic rope will not cause harm to you like it would if it were a steel rope.
