The weight hangs on the factory hinge, and getting into the back means wrestling a heavy tire out of the way every time.

The TeraFlex Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier uses the factory tailgate hinge mounting points, with a one-piece forged steel hinge tying the top and bottom hinge locations together. Internal gussets and bracing in the JL body support the carrier and tire, and the carrier spans nearly the width of the tailgate. It accepts up to a 40in tire with the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount.

Bolt it to the hinge points, add the mount, and hang the spare. The cargo area opens in one smooth swing, and the threaded holes add places for a recovery jack or fluid containers.

Key Features

Uses the factory tailgate hinge mounting points

One-piece forged steel hinge and added vertical braces

6061-T6 extruded aluminum carrier

UV resistant finish

Threaded mounting holes for off-road accessories such as a recovery jack and fluid containers

Opens the rear cargo area in one motion

Specifications

Maximum tire: 40in with the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount

Wheel pattern: 5x5in

Hinge pins: 0.625in

Fitment

Jeep Wrangler JL 2018-2025 (2-door and 4-door)

In the Box

Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier

Hardware

Notes

The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount is required to carry a tire and is not included.

MPN 4838900 · UPC 843885046592
