factor55-ultrahook-winch-hook-with-shackle-mount
Factor55 UltraHook Winch Hook with Shackle Mount

Racers and recovery crews both want the speed of a hook, but a conventional hook can fray a strap, drop a strap end during slack and rattle against the fairlead. Choosing between a hook and a closed system has meant giving something up.

The UltraHook is a winch hook with a shackle mount hole machined into its body. It is CNC machined from 7000 series aluminum, uses a 5/8in titanium double shear pin with no splicing, and is rated for a 16,000 lb max load. A latch lock pin stored in the body locks the safety latch, and EPDM pads protect the fairlead.

Use it as a hook, or run a shackle through the body for closed system winching. Fold it against the fairlead when you are done.

Key Features

Two ways to use it: conventional hook opening or shackle mount

Shackle pin mount supports Closed System Winching

Safety latch with a latch lock pin stored in the hook body

Integrated EPDM rubber pads protect the fairlead and prevent rattle

Finger grip promotes proper hook-up orientation

Max opening deformation laser engraved

No rope splicing; for steel cable and synthetic rope up to 3/8in

Specifications

Max rated load: 16,000 lb

Failure strength, hook throat opening: 31,000 lb

Failure strength, shackle pin mount: 48,000 lb

Shackle pin mounting hole accepts 3/4in screw pins (.875in diameter)

Pin: 5/8in 6Al-4V titanium double shear pin

Material: 7000 series aluminum, hard anodized (Mil-A-8625 F Type III)

Folded thickness: 3in

Weight: 32 oz

Dimensions: 7.5 x 5 x 2in

MPN 00250-01 (Red)

MPN 00250-02 (Blue)

MPN 00250-03 (Yellow)

MPN 00250-05 (Silver)

MPN 00250-06 (Grey)

MPN 00250-07 (Orange)

MPN 00250-08 (Green)

MPN 00250-04 (Black)

MPN 00250-92 (Bronze)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/2808/8631/files/FAC00250-01_1_bddafad9-2080-4b48-983c-ce4c5680c5cf.jpg?v=1748032643
