The Outer Limit Supply HyFin Vent Chest Seal from North American Rescue (NAR) sets the standard for the prevention, management and treatment of any potential chest trauma such as a pneumothorax. Includes two individually packed seals; which can be applied to an entry or an exit wound while giving the option to only apply one and store the other until needed.
The advanced design of the HyFin Vent Chest Seal provides 3-vented channels designed to prevent airflow into the chest cavity during inhalation while allowing air to escape through the vent channels during exhalation. Each of the vent channels are designed to allow blood to escape. The vent is created to work successfully even if two of the three channels become impeded.
Not only does the Hyfin Vent Chest Seal have a backup fail-proof system, it also has superior adhesion that ensures it will overcome any adverse conditions or harsh environments; such as blood, sweat, or body hair. The Hyfin Vent Chest Seal is prepared simply with a large red pull tab that allows for single-step, peel-and-apply application, and easily conforming to the chest.
